We are assisting a prominent consultancy in search of Network Engineers required for supporting, maintaining, and developing new features for various networking services within the AWS cloud environment.

Key focus on:

  • IP Address Allocation (IPAM)
  • DNS Resolution
  • Domain Name Delegation
  • NTP Service (Cloud only)
  • Core Networking

Experience required:

  • Manage our cloud-based Network focused service offerings, ensuring they continue to run and performing preventive maintenance as required.
  • Develop required new features as defined by CCOE Product Manager
  • Strong Proficiency in AWS networking services and architecture, including Cloud WAN, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and Route 53
  • Strong knowledge of IP Addressing, subnetting, and routing.
  • Expertise in DNS configuration and management.
  • Experience in domain name delegation and administration.
  • Proficiency in core networking concepts, including VPC design and security.
  • Implement and maintain the resources used to operate the services via Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, deployed via GitHub and GitHub Actions. The resources are largely off the shelf AWS services (EC2, Lambda, EventBridge, security hub) with some customisation based around lambdas written in python.
  • Work with version control systems (eg, GitHub) to manage and track changes to infrastructure code.
